მისი პირველი როლი სერიალში " Crossing Jordan" 2006წ. – ენ რაპაპორტი. ხოლო კინემატოგრაფიული დებიუტი შედგა 2008 წელს მეორეხარისხოვანი როლის (მყიდველი მაკდონალდსში) შესრულებით ფილმში "King of California".
მსოფლიო მასშტაბით აღიარება და წარმატება კი 2008 წელს ეწვია ეშლის Alice Cullen–ის როლის შესრულებით ფილმში "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn".
პირადი ცხოვრება–ეშლის რომანი ჰქონდა ახალგაზრდა მსახიობ Christopher Chace Crawford–თან, რომელმაც დიდხანს არ გასტანა
